Culture and History in Torshälla
Torshälla boasts a rich cultural heritage, most notably reflected in the sculptures of artist Allan Ebeling, which adorn the town. Those eager to explore more art can visit the Sculpture Park next to Holmberget City Park. From Holmberget, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the river and historic Torshälla, with its charming alleys, cobblestones, and wooden houses.
Torshälla is also home to the Ebeling Museum, preserving the collection of the nationally renowned artist Allan Ebeling.
Old Town Torshälla
Visit the Bergströmska Homestead Museum (Bergströmska Gården), a preserved 18th-century bourgeois estate that survived the great Torshälla fire of 1798. Today, the estate serves as a local heritage museum and, during summer, hosts various activities, including crafts, music, and plant markets.
Continue your walk to Rådhustorget, home to the old town hall from 1833. Just around the corner, you’ll find Torshälla Church, known for its unique limestone paintings and medieval wooden sculptures.

Experience Lake Mälaren from Torshälla Guest Harbor
From Torshälla Guest Harbor, located right next to the historic part of town, you can embark on a boat tour with Rederi Mälarstaden. The company offers prawn and taco cruises, as well as trips to Taxinge Castle (famous for its cakes) or the Viking town of Birka, among other destinations.
